Cora & Greg

Not only were Cora and Greg a gorgeous couple to work with. They're family. Cora is Daniel's cousin, and we were so thrilled when they asked to do their engagement photos before their move to Knoxville for the start of Cora's PhD program at the University of Tennessee.

Cora and Greg are the ultimate laid back couple that we dream of working with everyday. I loved how natural they were together, even in front of the camera. This was SUCH a sticky and hot July day, but they didn't complain or let that throw them off.

The shoot started in Eagle Creek Park, and we moved to charming downtown Zionsville afterwards. They're getting married in Noblesville, IN next summer, and we'll be filming alongside Daniel's parents Brad and Colleen (Jacobson Photography). We're so excited that two of Daniel's cousins are getting married next year and couldn't be happier for both couples.

We're sending all the good vibes to Cora and Greg as they transition into this next chapter and settle into their new home together. It's a crazy time for both of them, but if anyone can handle it it's these two!

Fun fact: We unintentionally scheduled this shoot on the same date as their wedding in 2017.

Beth & Grady

This soon-to-be bride had a genius idea in early June after learning about a poppy field that was in bloom in a near east side neighborhood. I love love loved shooting in this setting with them. This poppy field is more than 100 years old! What!? And as a color freak, I die for how the white and light blue they wore allow the bright reds and greens to pop even more.

Beth and Grady live in Indianapolis and are getting married in THEE cutest neighborhood in the city in August. We're so excited for this one and can't wait to spend the entire day with them soon!

Steph & Brad

Our first wedding of this year was in Eureka, MO with spring weather to die for. Steph and Brad were married amongst their closest family and friends on April 16th. It was an intimate day filled with lots of emotion, and it was easy to quickly see how much these two love and care for each other. They couldn't stop making each other laugh, and it was contagious! Everyone celebrated with a small reception at a local winery across from the park they were married in. I loved that they let the entire day be stress-free and laid back because it allowed the two of them to remain at the center of everything.

It was truly a joy and a pleasure to get to know this wonderful couple and be a close part of such a special day in their lives. Congratulations and all the best to you both!

Alexa & Gabe

We took these engagement photos for Alexa and Gabe in mid-January, so sitting here in mid-July I can barely remember what this felt like! But while we were completely bundled up, they were such troopers and so easy to work with given the conditions outside. We had a blast getting to know their little family. Their boys are the cutest (and so well-behaved), and I loved how Alexa dressed them! Those shoes!

They're getting married this fall in Florida, and I know it will be a beautiful wedding. Congrats to this sweet bunch. We loved working with you!

Bobbi & Tommy

Bobbi & Tommy were married last fall on Sept. 26th in downtown Indianapolis at the OneAmerica Building. The rain held off for their beautiful outdoor ceremony in the courtyard and luckily provided that perfect overcast lighting that we always hope for. These two were such a sweet couple to get to know. Both they and their families made us feel so welcome the entire day.

Some of my favorite details of theirs included the baby's breath, homemade honey as guest favors, s'mores cupcakes, and photo booth. This group was so much fun, and we're thankful we had the opportunity to capture everything. Cheers, you two!
